Procell Therapies Microchanneling

Using the Procell treatment, hundreds of thousands of microchannels are created in the skin, each with its own tiny injury. This, in turn, stimulates a period of inflammation, where the skin introduces new collagen, healing the skin. Essentially, the body is tricked into healing itself.

Procell Microchanneling is the advanced next stage of microneedling. Stem cell growth is more readily stimulated in the Procell treatment, using better delivery serums to promote collagen growth. Microchanneling also uses a unique stamping method, which is less damaging to the skin, breaking the epidermis or the outer layer of skin only. The resulting ‘micro-injuries’ are created vertically and to a fixed depth, with no scratching or tearing through being dragged across the skin. 

Procell Microchanneling, as discussed above, is less damaging to the body than microneedling, and the same can be said of laser resurfacing, plastic surgery or damaging chemical peels. It’s also less painful and more cost-effective than other skin treatment options, with minimal recovery time. All areas of the body can be treated, too, for maximum results.

Here are some general tips following your treatment:

• Keep your mask on for 15-30 minutes to let the mask take effect.
• Ideally, avoid make-up and other beauty products for 6-8 hours while the skin heals. After that time, you can add a mild moisturiser.
• You may notice some skin irritation or sensitivity, especially in the first 24 hours. That’s normal. Avoid any allergic situations or irritants, and take it easy on any exercise, saunas or spicy foods.
• After 24-48 hours, apply the Procell Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator. Make sure first to clean your skin and apply 1-3 pumps, repeating twice daily in the morning and at night.
• Avoid Retin-A, Retinol, vitamin C, BHA, AHA, or exfoliation for 5-7 days.
