How Does Red Vein Removal & Diathermy Work?
This is performed using the electrolysis machine. A very fine filament is used along with a current, to coagulate the capillary immediately.
What Should I Expect After My Treatment?
Most red veins and red spots should disappear during treatment. Larger veins may be reduced in size, they may require a few treatments. Results should be evident within 7 days of treatment. Some redness will be visible after and should subside within a few hours. You may also experience some scabbing over the treatment area, do not pick, let these come off in their own time.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
This depends on the number of red veins and red spots that need to be treated and also the size of the veins. Most people require 1-4 treatments.
Does Red Vein Treatment Hurt?
You will experience some discomfort having this treatment done, but we can use a numbing cream to help with the comfort levels. This is an additional cost of $10, and it needs to be on the skin for around 15 minutes to work properly.
After Care For Red Vein Treatment
Avoid anything that causes sweating, tanning and sunbeds. Avoid applying make up to the area, touching the treated skin. Swimming and spa pool, any heat.
